On November 3, 2007, the candidate Barack Obama made a surprise guest visit to the TV show, Saturday Night Live. Disguised as Barack Obama, he poked fun at himself while the SNL regulars skewed Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton.
Barack delivered the line, "I have nothing to hide" as he unmasked from his (you guessed it) Barack Obama mask.

He went on to say that he enjoys being himself and he is not going to change who he is just because of Halloween.

Critics of the SNL show implied that the portrayal was slanted to create positive news coverage for Barack Obama. This was further supported by the Obama campaign’s comment that they tweaked the script. Just like any other guest.

What a great website. You’ve gone to a lot of work and done a lot of research and it looks good. For anyone wanting to dress up as a political figure this halloween, this is the place to come…
It’d be interesting to know who are the most popular political characters that people dress as at Halloween and fancy dress parties. I would have said that it would be the so called political villains like Nixon or even Clinton (I did not have etc…)to some extent. It strikes me that dressing as Obama is slightly different as he is not a villain as such but he still has a number of catch phrases that people can use to get some laughs.
