Some of the best costuming for the Halloween party season this year will reflect the events of our recent times.

If you are dressing up for Halloween revelry, expect to see Barack and Michelle Obama Couples Costumes as well the Barack Obama costume. For the baby boomers, the 70’s are alive and well. Think disco and John Travolta. Glitzy disco dresses, even gold lamme’ will inspire the nostalgia of the Stayin’ Alive days.
Many will recreate another 70’s look with go-go boots inspired by "these boots are made for walkin’". Combine the boots with a neon mini-dress to go back in time.

Halloween costume female partygoers never seem to tire of the 20’s look with the flapper dresses in soft feminine colors and, appropriately, the long strands of pearls and sweet innocent smiles.

The men of the 20’s will be attired in ganster pinsripes and fedoras pulled low on their heads. Add toy Tommy gun if they dare.

Sexy costumes for sexy vixens may include sensuous nurses or even nuns. Or the female counterpart to the pirate, the pirate wench.
If you are going to the "right" party, give your fantasies the "come on" with sexy scary suggestiveness. Playboy costumes can help leave nothing to the imagination.

Then there are the classic costumes like Raggedy Ann, a Queen, wicked witches and vampires.

Men’s Halloween costumes are often counterparts to the women’s costumes. Couples costumes are very popular. If you see the 70’s disco queen, her partner "John Travolta" in his white suit or tight pants may not be far away.
